Le' Sheesha Alfresco

Ok, we, being me sy 1d sf js & her boo, went sheesha-ing. It was the 31st of August. What a nice place to spend the last day of the month at. Everything was perfect. Except that we just didn't get a chance to fully enjoy ourselves... We have yet to grow accustomed to js's bf. So anyways, the placewe went was alfresco!!! We even had a private room all to ourselves...

We practically entered sheesha heaven @ Arab street. Open roof concept. Pure Paradise. Haha, we had a personal room to ourselves. Great ambiance and definitely queer drinks. The weather was good too. Initially it was wet, guess we cooled it down. Haha, us being cool and all. Haha. A part from the Arab men who kept looking, wait more like staring, into the room through the half glass door each time they passed by. I had sy to my right and sf, who was busy immersing herself in the assshy peach sheesha, to my left. They were probably eyeing sf. I guess she caught they eyes as it was clear she was definitely enjoying her time.

I dint quite enjoy myself, should have gotten mint. It was an ash experience. No pun intended. Pure Ash... It felt like smoking charcoal.. Or ashes. Haha, but none the less we enjoyed ourselves. We ate at zam zam. Supper comprising of murtabak and what was the other dish... Oh yeah mee goreng. Hah, am glad sy knows how to enjoy exquisite meals. Can't wait to evaluate his gf. Haha. Heard of 2 guys a girl and a pizza place, well this was close, 2 girls a guy and a murtabak stall. Haha. Then we had fun, sheesha part we were self conscious. What with being with a newbie and all.

It was a great day. Had fun. Looking forward to the next outing...
Here are some of the pictures we clicked!
Sorry for being back dated, hell, better late than never right. Enjoy!!!

Strength

She who stands out even in the most crowded of places
She who sparkles even with heavy eyes
She who shines even in the most darkest of times
She who sparkles brighter than the stars up above
She who shines so vibrantly with that smile of hers

Despite having drfted twice
Despite almost losing her loved ones and herself being lost
Despite life being to complex for her to understand
Despite being the backbone for all, she herself is crumbling
Despite it all, she never questions, not once

For circumstances could never differ
For the future scares her and starves her even more
For the ones she loves will never be forgotten
For the possibility of it all amazes her
For she looks up to HIM for support

Vaguely Yet Vividly

Sometimes I really wonder about life. Im an extravagant lady. When I walk into a room, all eyes are on me. Eye catcher so to speak. I hold my head high and applaud my existence. Im proud most definitely, not the snobbish bitch type of pride. Its more of a pride that makes you feel whole. If I like what I see, I'd be smiling. I smile at myself at times, pondering why people's got that stick stuck up their bum. But that's besides the point. I read the papers everyday without fail. I yearn to read headlines that make an impact on humanity, on peace and not war. This is the 21st century. War is never the solution. Its simply a catalyst for disaster. We are definitely not fighting Adolf Hitler. Sadam's in jail isn't he... People get so carried away by their own life. Lost in their own world. Deaf, Blind & Mute to the Universe. Having eyes yet blind, ears yet deaf, voice yet speechless. That really doesn't make sense. Others would never pass on a chance to get into a quarrel or squabble but shun away from responsibility. Talk is certainly cheap. Trust me, its a fact, just like action speaks louder than words.

Life is suppose to be simple, fall in love get married, have kids, live happily and comfortably and not necessarily luxuriously. Happiness is not measured by the thickness of your wallet or the 6 digits in your bank account. Happiness is simply loving your love ones, loving the world and being loved in the process. Happiness to me is making others smile. That's a real joy. I dare you, try it, make someone smile and you'll feel lighter. Or better yet, fall in love. Get immersed in it. & the joy is overwhelming. Being filled to the brim. Been there done that, its just mine came in different portions.

Meaning no harm at all.

Brief Update

I know i dint mention about my late endeavours here, so here it goes. I had a great time @ Cha Kash's house. I was there with Simmy, Cha Bireh and my very Pregnant Chachi Cindy. We had so much fun watching the wedding videos and mingling and chatting and a whole lot of multitasking , we dint even realised the night had indeed stetched into the wee hours of the morning. I guess we all just got carried away. Absolut was the culprit. Absolutely. Remembering the past and hearing nothing but love care and concern towards you really enlightens you. Upon reaching home i defintely head butting my way to dreamland. Was i tired.

The next day sf me and js along wit nikky and the 2 young gals. we caught movie @ the padang. Mi3 and xmen 3...... Post Pictures.... wish to read, do vist sf.....

London '06

London!!!! Finally there, I've waited long. Okie I wanted to visit it when I was probably 17, that was the time I was in a chaotic London Fever. I was mad about going there. I even had a watch synchronized to its timing. Peculiar, just Pinky!!! So, in the Ford Gramme drove, I starting clicking away. Im sure you recognise that(above), The Eye. I rode it. It was simply spectacular. Doesn't get you squeamish/queasy or anything. 45minutes of pure London indulgence. Taking in the picturesque scenery of up town London. The weather was perfect, sunny and bright. Mayfair was certainly viewable in the distance. The moment was pretty awwwe-some. Can't wait till I go back.

This Cutey, is one of the guards at The Guard House. He surprised everyone by yelling all of a sudden. He was just saying his commands and marched left and right before stopping, that's when I took the shot.

This picture was sadly taken by Simmy, she didn't capture the monument, which is probably about 20 over feet, hey, im only guessing....So, thats Me and Nikky. Infront Buckingham Palace.

Oh ho, The Great Piccadilly Circus or is it Leicester Square, gosh they are so close by I get it wrong all the time. So its either one. Correct me if im wrong.

At the main entrance of Buckingham Palace, hey the queen's behind us....Yeay...Hahaha, thanks to my overshot long arms we got a picture of us three...

Nikky captured this, Right infront the Gates of B.P, Im tired of typing the whole word... hahaha...Lazy right, well its better to get this over and done with, I was in London in May, and its August now. So, expresso!!!

Piccadilly Circus, We decided to chill for a while, drank coke which was 1pound. I love one pounds course they're heavy and you know you're down on cash when your wallet's lighter than usual.. Hahaha... I miss that... I still got a couple pounds I kept. Tired of spending, really.

Couldn't resist the tulips, we bought a bunchful of yellow tulips from Marks & Spencers, which cost only about 3pounds...It was wih us the entire time in the ascott apartment, given the weather, they really lasted. Oh the climate... I miss that the most....

London, Gosh, You should see the goodies i bought.
Theres really a lot more pictures, in the eye, in harrods, @ Warwick castle etc etc not to mention the airports. I am thankful though that when we were bound homewards, nothing occurred. The cancellation/suspension of flight happening now in London, the bomb scare and plans, thank god, we're back. Hahah, although it would have been a rather interesting experience.

Life, as I know it.

Wow, I have been so busy, I actually forgot about my blogspot. Not until I got reminded of 'fleet enema' or was it enigma... Oh never mind. Anyways, a lot, and I mean a lot has happen since the year 2006 started. Its 9th august today, yeah, our nations birthday. My sincerest birthday wishes for u, pretty Singapore. May you try to be no more expensive(kidding) and remain as young and vibrant as you always are. Happy 41st. Its august now, and I'll fill u in on April, may, June and July. Well, I hoped to achieve that atleast. This one is probably gonna be a picture/caption type. Enjoy!

Ok, I went to London in April, spent a week there before we were driven in a Ford up to Warwick, where we saw a 17th century castle. I swear, in the sun set and along the lake, it simply look majestic. The castle that is. Anyways, I met a lot of people there and I miss it so much that I was brought to tears when we were awaiting our transit in Doha Airport, thanks to the Singaporeans there. Why I cried... Well, I really did not miss the singlish and the climate, but at the same time nothing could compare to Singapore. I admit, we do not have The eye(which u must ride-absolutely amazing) or the tussauds museum but we are pride and a whole lot more. Ok, anyways London was a great experience. Well I did take over a 5oo shots.

This was taken at Gatwick International. Im pretty happy because of a certain someone who D.M calls 'Israeli hunk', haha. Anyways this was on the return journey where we went bankrupt because of me. Hahah, whats a gal to do? The credit card was not really in the wrong hands. Hahaha.

This was taken at the Mediacorp studio awaiting 'Anugerah' to start. Was there to Support Julie's bro....

This was taken yet again at a wedding. A childhood friend in Singapore. She was 21 and her new hubby's a police officer. Good for her, she'll get security 24/7.

After London, been there done that, we dreaded the weather here. But, when you're surrounded by good company, one tends to forget easily. The paradigm shift i went through involved a wedding affair. It was an uncle of mine, I was up in P.J and back in S.G faster than saying supercalifragalisticexpialidocious. Haha. Ok, it was onwards to Malacca for a mini break, saw the beaches, the red church etc etc. This picture was taken in the bus we took to the wedding. May and June proved to be rather hectic for me. It was full mode all the way. I did not get a chance to rest my tush. It was still a holiday stupor for me. Im looking good by the way, muahaha. Anyways after all that traveling final, I went out of steam in late July. I was Lil Miss Busy not busybody, haha. One could never get a whole of me. For I was unreachable. I miss those days. Being MIA. Where was I? Hmmm, see, I myself got lost.

I as you can see, I am absolutely shagged.I was sleepy in the car. No, luckily I wasn't driving. Hahaha. But manage a smile as Simmy clicked away on her Nokia 3250. Nice phone but bulky.

Hmm, trying to recall this.... I forgot. I remembered only that we have ahelluva lot fun.... Like we always do... Oh yeah, scary movie. Absent-minded me. Muahahaha.
Anyways, school only starts on the 4th of Dec, planning a cruise in the mean time. Phuket akan datang. The parade just ended so I was away from time to time. Hehe, was a good show especially the fireworks part, breathtaking. Will be going to watch the fireworks done by the French later this week too. I wont dilly dally any longer for now. Got commitments to fulfill at the moment. Will definitely be sure to write again sometime soon. My word, no more months disappearing act, or atleast I hope. Dying to see 'you' again. With part of my heart, I'll be back.

Pinkies Treats

Oh my, Im really happy but tired at the same time. Yesterday was my birthday, the 28th. It was a great day spent with my two godsisters(my besties). We caught up at PS. Had a good luncheon at pizza hut but dint really enjoyed the Morrocan pizza, wasnt it not supposed to be spicy, we arent tomato fans at all. Anyways after the meal, we played x-box. Yup we did. Kicked off with bad driving and ended with a humble spongebob game which saw JS & SF reigning victoriously....

After that we made our way down to the marina where we hunted for a cake, drinks and ice-cream and took more photos. The weather was looking pretty tentative at that time. We therefore had to find a place away from the threatening sky which was very moody. We found the perfect spot, an underpass. The cutting of the cake cremony followed by speeches from my godsisters and then frantic photo-taking and posing like nobody's business. After taking over 90 shots and finishing the cake and the ice-cream, we made our way to bugis, where we caught up with JS's friend D.

Then we made our way to the 3rd spot of the day which was unknown to me, typically I tried to guess the destination, what didnt I come up with. I was being brought to a muslim speech, that JS was going to be the pimp and sell me off, ones mind only can wander right. But of course i wasnt worried but just curious to know. But D accidently spilled the beans that we were going to smoke shesha. We reached Ambrosia and got ourselves a nice little dark corner and inhaled apple shesha, which i dint try for various reason. We ate a little there. I think we spent an hour plus there before we made our way home.

It was a good day, great infact. Desperately waiting for the next.I certainly had a good time. Then again whenever its me JS and SF its always good fun. It was really a Happy Birthday.
